Member Benefits
These benefits are provided to help insured members and their families in times of need:
College Scholarships - High school seniors and young adults 25 and under who are National Mutual Benefit members can apply for one of 29 scholarships.
Disaster Benefit - This benefit provides disasters victims with a grant to help cover damages after a tornado, hurricane, or earthquake.
Disease Benefit - This benefit provides a grant to members for out-of-pocket expenses incurred from the contraction of a list of specific diseases.
Loss of Sight or Limb Benefit - A grant is provided to a member who is involved in an accident causing loss of sight or limb.
Newborn Death Benefit - This benefit assists parents who have lost a newborn infant.
Newborn Guaranteed Insurability Benefit - An insured parent may apply for a life insurance policy for their infant with guaranteed insurability.
Orphan's Income Benefit - National Mutual Benefit supports member children who lose both parents by providing a monthly allowance for care of the children by their guardian.
Orphan's Scholarship Benefit - National Mutual Benefit supports member children who lose both parents by providing a college scholarship for their education should they pursue higher education.
